Super Easy Store Bought cup cakes into a cake
I used 1 pint of cream, 1/3-1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla for the whipped cream.
I bought some ready made cup cakes at the grocery store, and made it into a cake. I used chocolate cup cakes with chocolate frosting.
Basically, I lined a loaf pan with cling wrap, and cut each of the cupcakes into 3 flat disc shapes, cutting them into thirds horizontally.
I then placed a layer of discs all around the bottom of the loaf pan, then a layer of whipped cream, then another layer of cupcakes. I tried to use the best ones near the edges. Don't worry if some of the discs break, it's kind of the point.
Continue the process until your loaf pan is full. Cover with cling wrap and let set in the refrigerator for about an hour.
Then, remove the cling wrap top, and place an upside down plate on top of the pan, flip it over, and remove the cling wrap.
Now you can use any left over whipped cream in a piping bag or a plastic baggie with a small cut out of one corner to make a pretty design on the top.
If you like, you can cover any cupcakes that show but initially coating the inside of the loaf pan with a thin layer of whipped cream all around, but personally, I like the look of the chocolate showing through.
