Slivered Almonds, the easy way


I like roasted, salted Blue diamond almonds, but whatever you prefer. 
 Place a handful of nuts into a ziplock bag.



Using the flat side of a meat tenderizer, lightly hit the nuts, they'll splinter, but only a little, slivered almonds,without flinging them all over your kitchen trying to use a knife.
